BTW, as a huge fan of Jason Bourne and having read all the books before I saw the movies, I want you to know how disappointed I am in Matt Damon being cast as the lead character. I imagined someone older and more swarthy. I couldn't enjoy the movies with this constantly on my mind. My 40 yoa son, on the other hand, had not read the books and thought Matt was the perfect person for the role.
Well, Bev, I think you & I have now had our first disagreement. I read one of the Ludlum books and liked it well enough, but I LOVE The Bourne Identity, and I too think Matt Damon was perfect.
I enjoyed the subsequent Bourne movies, but I didn't like them half as much as the first one -- which I attribute in some considerable degree to how Bourne Supremacy & Bourne Legacy were edited, with all kinds of jump-cuts between 3 second snippets from all kinds of 'radical' camera angles.
Well that's the thing, isn't it. We never know who might listen. Same with me when I put my books out into the world. One never knows who might be interested.
What a nice surprise to read your email today! Knowing of some of trials you've been through, I am an admirer of your clear head and more importantly your positive outlook.
I was starting my first job in London the same month when you were pawning your stuff. That door is closed now.

Thank you.
Great to find you here, John. Lot more room to move about than just 240 characters, eh? Yours, @technocrat
Yes, thanks. I have a lot to figure out about connecting the website to the blog to the substack, etc, but I'm going to do it, yes I am.
Supporting you as always. Keep it up.
Muchas gracias. Thanks in advance for any help spreading the word.
I would, but who listens to me?
